Victoria was the clinical sports therapist for New Zealand U17 world cup team in 2008, has worked with many International teams including NZ Warriors, Brisbane Broncos, Cornella Sharks and Wales Rugby Union Tour in 2016. Her holistic approach to treatment is very focused on the individual so treatment may include a combination of massage and exercise therapy to achieve the optimal results.
Remedial Massage Therapy is a therapeutic way of relieving muscular tension, dysfunction usually caused by Sport or Occupation.
Before any massage treatment we assess the biomechanics and specific functions required within your occupation or sport . From this we can determine the best form of treatment to give you optimal results.
The massage therapist uses a combination of soft tissue techniques including DEEP TISSUE/ RELAXATION STROKES, heat packs, trigger point therapy and gentle stretching, to relieve pain or tension, improve joint movement and assist with the body’s natural healing process. Sports/Remedial massage is very beneficial to those people suffering with headaches and migraines, Sciatica, back or neck pain, frozen shoulder, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, Respiratory problems, Fibromyalgia, joint stiffness or muscular tightness from Sport or Occupation.
